Information is power. For this reason KENDAT is keen enough to ensure that all the relevant activities are shared with the communities and the rest of the public. This information goes a long way in changing the attitudes of the general public in regard to animal welfare. Time to time information collected from the field is compiled and packaged in such a manner as to be consumed by its users. This enables keep our communities updated on the day to day happenings of KENDAT activities both locally and internationally.

KENDAT publications comprise of:-

The publications are designed to tell on how KENDAT is helping animal-owning communities to be more self-reliant in the daily care of donkeys. This way KENDAT is able to share more of its philosophy with more animal owners all over the world.

The donkey pamphlets are distributed to the owners and users of donkeys either during community group meetings or during donkey purchase. This also occurs during donkey camps and field days. This enables disseminate general information on donkey management as well donkey diseases and ways in which the owners can be able to manage issues related to myths within particular communities. Several destructive myths are demystified to enable improve the general welfare of the donkeys.

The newsletters are published quarterly, while the information requests run throughout the year.

KENDAT is also running a radio programme nd has done a number of documentaries in audios and visuals. The audio visuals provide one of the most appropriate avenues for disseminating messages. Such messages take the form of audio and visual tools. Examples of audio-visual produced by KENDAT and a local television station include:
