KENDAT recognizes that donor funding environment is becoming increasingly unpredictable and unreliable. There is also a feeling that many Kenyan NGOs involved in animal traction campaigns have not been as forthcoming as required in their articulation and practice of effectiveness framework. As such, many donors have shifted their attention to other priorities, particularly more needy sectors sometimes in outside where countries are politically unstable. This therefore calls for NGOs to redesign programs to attract and maintain a variety of funding sources.
At the same time, an organisation may receive a grant, donation or bequest that is specifically tagged to a specific project, and such funds cannot therefore be used for day-to-day operations. KENDAT is therefore beginning to look at its own internal capacity to generate incomes that can sustain its efforts.

Please come and let us join hands!
